The Importance of Connecting to Art
Art is something that took me over two decades to truly discover and pursue. I felt like my interpretation wasn’t “real” art because it wasn’t created with the typical mediums in the ways that are accepted by art critics worldwide. The difference between digitally manipulated art and hand drawn sketches is immeasurable, but they are both “real” art. A couple years ago I realized that. It shouldn’t matter what others consider “real” art because if it was created by inspiration and if it speaks to someone’s soul, then it is art – no matter what form it takes. There is no such thing as “real” art. It’s all art. I know I’ve always had it in me, but I never had the courage to let myself get lost in my work. Until now.
Everything for sale was created both for myself and for someone, somewhere, out there. Do any of them speak to you or someone you know?
